In Comox,the Black Fin Pub

Whenever we head to Comox, usually for a Costco visit, lunch at the BLACKFIN PUB seems like a good idea. Sure it’s a pub. But it doesn’t feel like a pub. It feels and looks like a well appointed restaurant. It is spacious and most tables include a view of the marina and government dock and the hills beyond. If you wish to sit outside there is a deck is available.

We have found that the food at the Black Fin is really good and really consistent. Their version of Halibut & Chips is as good as you will get anywhere. The cole slaw is creamy and could be the best we have had. Their tartar sauce is equally superior too. We often share and they are happy to oblige. An interesting wine list and a wide range of beers add the the experience.

The service has always been excellent and this visit was no exception. Prompt, friendly and efficient!

The menu really has something for every taste with many seafood offerings. The soups look amazing and large. Some of the dishes sound wonderful. Beaufort Chicken…stuffed with crab, asparagus and Brie. Seafood Enchiladas, Crab Mac & Cheese, Moroccan Lamb Shank. We must go back.

Check out their website. http://www.blackfinpub.com

Just saying…
